"No Homo" A young lad at work told us it the other day. Its meant to be used after paying a compliment to another fella to signal there's no underlying homosexual feelings behind the compliment. What the hell has the world come to.

It is what all the closet gays say in the Gym. They go to the gym wearing short-shorts and a vest. Then when they are in there they stare at their male friends lifting weights, flexing, grunting and getting sweaty. They finish it off by taking topless pictures of each other and complimenting their bodies. They say "No Homo" at end because they cannot admit to themselves that the whole thing is a fair bit gay.

I just got asked to set up a meeting with someone to see if we could "leverage the synergies in the (system we use) space"

'Make best use of common resources' sounds a lot less sh*tehawky than 'leverage the synergies' even if it means the same thing."

They're t**sers who feel the need to show how "smart" they are and how "good" their vocabulary is.... that's what you're dealing with there. They aren't smart, they're parroting lines they've heard before with barely a grasp on what they actually mean.

Phrases like 'word porn' and 'food porn' have been very noticeable in recent years and really annoy the f**k out of me, especially as they don't refer to erotic literature or fetish sites ,but usually to the sort of thing reserved for Valentine's cards and pictures of a salad; example here. http://foodporndaily.com/pictures/ripe-heirloom-tomato-salad-with-red-onion-balsamic-and-olive-oil/" rel="nofollow - http://foodporndaily.com/pictures/ripe-heirloom-tomato-salad-with-red-onion-balsamic-and-olive-oil/
It isn't f**king porn! Not even Bridget f**king Jones wanked to Hallmark schmaltz and while several men may have spilt salad cream down their trousers watching Nigella, it still doesn't make it porn, never mind just a picture of a tomato in vinegar.

'Codes'  as in all sports.  I've never heard any other country refer to sports as codes.

Don't hear it as much anymore but RTE used to always say 'cross channel' for the English results on the news and on Sports Stadium.

Everton's training ground is Finch Farm

Ipswich Town are a farmers' team

Many players have been farmed out on loan

Plough Lane was Wimbledon's ground

Dairy City play in the League Of Ireland

There has also been several farm animals who have played top level football - Donkey Adams, Neighmar, Shaun Goater, while several players claim to be the GOAT, while Jurgen Klippety-Klopp is currently the world's best manager
