When clicking on 'new posts' on a particular thread there is an issue where I am being brought to a post that is maybe 2 days old and the posts have already been read. It's not happening with all threads but it's a pain.

Is anyone else experiencing this and if so what can fix it?

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

I think that may have to do with new posters who have to get their posts authorised or whatever by the mods. So they may post something in a busy thread and the mods don't see it for about an hour, at which point several other posts have been made, but when the mods approve it it then appears as a 'new' post to everyone. Or else you could be talking about something completely different...

Stop using Firefox is probably the best you're going to get.

as has been mentioned on the other threads, there are no more fixes for any issues as the lads that have made the forum won't do any more upgrades.

We will be moving to a new forum but that'll be in a few months

Happening to me in Chrome for the last while, only on certain threads. Also, while I am here, if I post a link it rarely works the first time, it just says 'error inserting object', bizarre that it works the second time.

Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.
