Keogh was a disaster vs Portugal, and the other games he is a decent championship player but not up to this level, when you face international players.   O'Dea can rise to the occasion since Dunne is gone.   Duffy can shine as  a rb, to cover Coleman.

Thank you Keogh, Ward, Whelan, Green.  a golden watch and thanks for your kindnesses

Sheridan because he is sharp atm and playing competitive football can offer aerial threat, he is different to the other players, walters can shield it as a solo striker,  keane is a goal poacher,  and Long and Stokes are tricky and they play between lines

A Reid rather than  Stephen  Ireland
Brady rather than  Stephen Quinn
Gibson rather than Hendrick because of experience and caps
O'Dea rather than  Keogh
