Have watched True Detective, football etc. via my laptop and plugged by HDMI into my tv. Now its saying "no signal". Any ideas?

Have tried all usual fixes i.e. change ports, power down etc.

Help!

Kids samsung tablet. Headphones broke in the headphone jack, taking the connection from the tablet jack out with them. Now the sound wont play via the speakers as the tablet thinks it's playing via the jack. Anybody any advice how to bypass or shut off the jack or something? Pain in the hole.

Got my Da an Alexa and he loves it but he is ruining my Spotify playlist 😀.  Presume the only option is Spotify family and give him a profile.  Presume they can check that we are not listening from under the one roof.

Anyone use Spotify family across multiple addresses.

Is the connection physically stuck in the tablet?

No 9f, the “male connection” for the Jack to receive the headphone snapped off and came away with the head phones. Disaster.

I downloaded an app there that supposedly helps but nope. Wouldn’t mind but Santy bringing a new tablet but now it’s 15 days with a tablet with no sound LOL

Mcg, there’s an Asian lad has a phone repair shop in the omni in santry, up near the post office, he’s really good for stuff like this. I had a charger pice stuck in an I phone and he had it out in two minutes.

It's it Bluetooth enabled? Bluetooth headset?

Cheers Billy, i'll give him a try but i'd imagine it will require a new port. Omni only down the road from work so will check it out Thumbs Up

Yes Tom, bluetooth. Currently charging my pair of headphones and will try it but i'm not optimistic. It appears the device is stuck on headphones into the AUX as it thinks there's a pair plugged into it.

Heaphones jack over rides bluetooth.

Solder or glue something to it to pull it out, its the only way

There are a few videos on YouTube saying that this method will work. Might be worth a try.

There’s nothing to pull out. The piece that connects to the headphone has snapped away. Maybe I’ve not been clear LOL

Ah I misunderstood it. If its a USB charger port you could try a cheap pair of USB C headphones, but I think that the headphones port may still take priority over that

You've probably tried already and the famous IT advice but it always fixes issues on the kids tablets..

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
