The 'oul Gobber' Frank Rijkard was on the telly today saying that Liverpool are favourites for the game tonight! whats all that about? Hopefully the reds will receive a lesson in football tonight.

I thought that Barca were screwed with all the fighting in their camp, but it turns out Liverpool have managed to beat them on that count! I reckon they'll lose the battle on the pitch tonight though.

Only posting things once now Jimmy????

gonna be funny seeing the liverpool lads all matey matey on the pitch.  Wonder if Bellamy scores will he celebrate by re-enacting the Seve ballesteros golf club incident with Riise and the corner flag instead.

3 points in the champs league knockout?
Were you out supporting a real team last night and celebrating afterwards?
Barca the best team in europa my arse.

you'll never walk alone.

you dont get points in knockout stages!

Every team can have an off day, look at milan in the final a few years ago against some bunch of cowboys.

ever since that day the champions league has been a farce and means nothing to me as a football fan, football player or 50+ post football forum contributor!  It was a sad day for football in general

That day was what football is about and is widely regarded by most football fans as one of the best champions league finals.

10 less than average players (gerards not bad) who were pitied by a far superior fottballing side who took the foot of the gas at half time to stop the anihilation of a team that had viewers cringing looking at a pathetic side getting a footballing lesson on the pitch! Word on the street was that UEFA nd FIFA heads went in and pleaded with the Milan squad at half time to 'take it easy on them' so that the cringathon spectacle that was wouldnt ruin the competitions prestege what with a pack of absolute clowns being in the final.  If you do a where are they now on half the team Id say they are playing sunday league football!

Or maybe in 77 or 78 or 81 or 84
Or maybe for one of our 18 league titles
Or maybe for one of our 3 uefa cups
Or 7 fa cups
or 7 league cups?

wow we can all quote past results and greatness! Look at teams like forest, preston and wednesday further back the years, arent they great sides now.  Great teams consistently win leagues, therefore you were great (but in the shadow) of the toffess in the 80's but you havent done anything in the last few years excelt beat alves in the mickey mouse cup, win a few carling cups against academy teams! + spend about 100 million in the process on outstanding players like Biscan, Traore, Diouf, salif diao, morientes and cisse!

See now youve lost it i was just giving you examples of the many times over the last 40 years people might have started supporting liverpool in response to your silly comment about 2005 and second teams, typical reponse from a everton fan they never where the smartest bunch and never will be.

YOUR JUST BITTER

you were part of us once so whatever derogatory comments you make about the past you are sl*gging yourselves you 2005 reds**te bangwaggoner!
The only thing your club has goin for you is that bloke John Durnin who never played for you and wins the masters football for you every year! and also that you have Gileete for sponsors so you and your scally mates can go and shave off your stupid 80's taches.

learn to spell first of all...mediocrity?

Dont know what your saying there chief as it looks to me like you're the ones trying to return to the old blue days by trying to build your staduim alongside Stanley Park maybe to try pretend you have some history from back then as one of the founders of the beautiful game in England

Now shush you muppet
Stanley park emm i do believe Anfield is nearer to stanley park than goodison. Speaking of which when are you moving out of liverpool?

Yeah whatever Richard Whitley/Michael Palin.  Just cause we arent a sell out club like yourselves we might have to move to Kirby.  You just showed your true colours when you didnt want to share the Kings Dock Stadium as you dont care about the city and are in it just for the shareholders! It doesnt matter where we move to, we are and always will be known as 'The Peoples Club' and not just another Man Yoo or Chelski in this world like what Liverpool have become.

Date Posted: 22 Feb 2007 at 6:39am
ah man your so deluded
We wouldn't share a stadium with blue noses because your a pack of bitters and why would we slum it with you lot when we can build our own and spend millions on the stanley park regeneration scheme? thats what a real peoples club do ;)

true  the club is owned by americans now but unfortunately thats the way things have gone in premiership football, we hadn't got the money to keep things moving forward and we didn't want to go backwards ala everton. Look at pompey a nice bit of investment has done wonders for the club(aren't they ahead of you now)

Trophies tell the full story of success.

Anyone give the blue noses some stick about spurs last night , or are we all revelling in the professional, hard-working and brilliantly executed performance of Liverpools last night

Posted By: The Count
Date Posted: 22 Feb 2007 at 6:52am

typical attitude.  We'll see who will be complaining when your ticket prices start going up by 25%, 2 or 3 new jerseys a year, corporate boxes replacing seasont ticket holder seats, all games becoming pay-per-view, (I was going to say not entering little cups like the league cup but that is your favourite one : ), TV companies and sponsors dictating away games (you'll never see Liverpool come to Ireland again), and finally in about 10 years when Liverpool becomes to small, Liverpool FC will pack up and build a 120,000 seater between liverpool and manchester and call it Manpool and then you come crawling back to the city looking for a 'peoples club' to support!....Exactly what I said in an early post Everton are 'The Peoples Club'

Little bit of history for you Count. It was the great Bill Shankley who first brought in the Peoples Club - Liverpool.
One of his quotes 'You Are the People' when he addressed thousands of Kopites following an FA Cup triumph is etched in soccer history.
So when dopey Evertonians come up with the Peoples Club, remember that is is in fact Liverpool they are talking about.

Wow now it all makes sense! Thats some really insperational talk ' you are the people', he was very observant wasnt he! Whatever bagwell you dont have a clue. Just cause he said the word people u clown.

Moysey stated when he joined that Everton was the peoples club as this was the feeling he got when entering the city.  Liverpool fans are like united fans, they come from everywhere but liverpool and manchester, hence Everton being 'The peoples club' in Liverpool. Wha?

No your just talking out your arse mate.

How many lined the streets when liverpool arrived back from Istanbul?
thats the response "a real people's club" gets

+ as for proper language you might want to go through some of your previous posts, maybe start typing them in word and spell check them first.
