I need to get two flights over to Poland. How strict are they in terms of bringing shaving gear in your hand luggage. So say mach 3 with blades, aftershave balm and shaving foam.

Probably better off getting the stuff over there would I?

Husband takes one blade on a handle plus one extra blade through hand luggage all the time, he buys mini foam and stuff as well. Though sometimes its cheaper to buy a value foam when you get where you are, (especially if I'm going too ;). If in doubt disposables are allowed through.

Razors are allowed once they are safety razors i.e shaving razors rather than say a cut throat one.

Check the security info for the airports you are flying out of. As for foam etc once its less than 100mls in your carry on and are in a clear resealable plastic bag there will be no issue. In your checked bag the size is not an issue.

What's the story with contact lenses cases? Google has mixed results.

I never had a problem with them in my carry on. Travel a lot with work in Europe for day trips etc and always have the contacts in the plastic bag, never been taken off me.

Never a problem with razors goring in hand luggage  - keep it to the one mind! You'll buy shaving cream once you're past security but beware they'll rob you compared to high street pharmacy which does travel cosmetics.

Sure just buy the shaving foam when you are away. You don't have to buy it at the airport.

Even try asking in your hotel.
