Rip Gary - I remember being at a drifters everton game Back in 95 and down by the touchline hearing this repeated high pitch call of "neen-ja, neen-ja" before realising it was amokachi calling for the ball off ablett (whose nickname presumably was down to his eyes) - was a well respected player and a good pro. Was very good in the blues' cup run of 1995. |

Terrible news - far too young. He went through bone marrow transplants and all sorts. A true gent who played for both Merseyside clubs with distinction. RIP Gary. |
