I always keep an eye out for bets I think are overpriced, they are not tips, just prices that i think should be lower than they are
This week; Ireland - Armenia draw @ 7/2, bwin, personally would have 5/2 Armenia (H v macedonia)- 8/11, broadly available, personally would have 4/7 Ireland - Andorra under 2.5 goals, 13/8, broadly available, based on recent performances it seems quite high Simon Cox last goalscorer @ 9/2, will hill, boyles, at least a point too big, bets refunded if he doesnt make it onto the pitch
Underpriced; Russia to beat Slovakia @ 7/5, odds should be 6/4 based on the fact slovakia and draw double chance is 1/2

Good man nvidic , it's good when a fella is checking the market,
Personally think the cox bet is value and will pile in there ,
I know Russia better than evens but away from home only needed draw even though I see the value I wouldn't bet it

Russia is a poor price i meant! Should be 6/4 and the bookies know it, being cheeky with their 7/5!

Never got to the bookies, but that under 2.5 goals one was a good tip. I would have backed Ireland to win 2-0 as well. Hate when that happens

Bookies love people like you.
We are favourites for valid reasons.
1. we are at home, where we generally beat teams seeded below us 2. we've already beaten them. 3. we have (on paper, i.e. playing their club football at a higher standard) better players 4. we haven't let a goal in for 8 games. 5. we are ranked much higher than them. 6. we are ahead of them in the group

Only for they were slow starters they would be right up there. They tore Macedonia to shreds the last day, they battered Slovakia (home AND away) and should have done the Rooskies. These guys are a better football team than we are, based on performances

No, they're not significantly better than us. Remember, we also beat Macedonia home and away and deservedly so.As well as losing at home to us, they also lost in Moscow. And but for their bizarre result against Slovakia, their away form is not so good.
If I were a bookie, these are the sort of odds I'd be quoting.

I never said that in fairness. And our home form isn't exactly brilliant either. 6 of one half a dozen of the other in my opinion.

personally think we're a bit short @ 4/7 and armenia long at 9/2 considering their form, i like the look of both teams to score @evens, will have a proper look later to see if there's much overpriced

Last weeks overpriced 7/2 draw is now a 5/2 rightly priced draw!
This week; France v BOSNIA draw no bet @ 4's, bosnia dont travel well but they have a lot to play for and are a good team, 4's seems too big
The insurebet goalscorer market has good value with doyle @ 7/2 and cox @ 4's amongst others
Kazakhstan V AUSTRIA 8/11, VC, Will Hill
nothing else really jumps out.. if anyone sees anything post it down

Lithunia are 5/1 at home to the Czech's.
Looking at their results for the past 2 years they are hit or miss as they beat the Czech's in Olomouc but lost to Leichenstein 2-0 in June this year then beat Armenia 3-0 in an august friendly. The czech's have the added pressure of having to win the game and could be caught on the counter attack as I think Lithunia have some pretty quick forwards so they could be a bit of value if anyone wants to risk them

I'm gonna back Ireland to draw our next three games, the draw with Armenia is 5/2 and I'm guessing that it will say be 9/4 for the other games in the play offs, this works out at 36/1
Now if we can just jam our way in via the away goals rule

Wouldn't touch it. Lithuania have nothing to play for, other than pride.
The Czech Republic are playing for a place in the playoffs as it's most unlikely that Scotland will win in Spain. Also, a draw might likely be enough (should word come through that Scotland are losing) as Czech hold a greater head to head with Scotland. Scotland might grab a famous draw and leave the Czechs needing a win.
It all amounts to far too many other variables for me to touch this bet.

Player for player, yes. But Armenia are a very good football team, and it won't be long until they do qualify. They are more ruthless than we are/were in the latter parts of this camaign in my opinion. Last night would have been a lot different if the ref hadn't f**ked up. But that's neither here nor there.

Bayern conceded only one goal in all competitions this year BSM and that was in their first league game, whereas Napoli started alright in Serie A but have been hit or miss the last few games and havent yet got near the form of the last 6 months of last season

looks like my kean eye is a bit off, although it was only off the coupon, the way paddy have it done is
Chance of bayern winning 47.6% Chance of draw 29.4% Chance of napoli winning 23.8%
which is an amazing book because the over-round is only .8% (traditionally it is closer to 10%, the over-round is the amount over 100% that is gotten from turning the odds back into percentages, it is essentially the bookies profit and the lower it is the better)
By comparison ladbrokes have have a 6% over-round and have their chances at;
bayern- 54.5 draw- 28.5 napoli 23
so paddy power have a 7% difference on bayern and thus offer a better price so they actually have bayern under priced compared to other bookies.... still fancy napoli @2's draw no bet though!

Fellaini 24 Kompany 26 Hazard 21 Vermaelen 26 Dembele 25 Vertonghen 25 Benteke 21 Mirallas 24 Lukaku 19 Mignolet 24
Oldest player of those mentioned is 26, hardly a group of underachievers as you have mentioned, they are 40th in the world but that will quickly change.
To call them underachievers is madness, would love those all to be in our national side!

dont think they are good enough and will exit before the bowl ,
that stat is skewed towards the earlier teams , would like to see the figures for the last ten years ,

i remember tennessee for instance a few years back going 10-0 and exiting early.
but judging by the stat you provided above it is an overpriced bet |
As usual, not tipping it, just think is overpriced! You can take 1/2 odds on them making the conference game either which might not be a bad shout!

so, 1/2 on them making the conference game, but 4/1 on making the superbowl? so 8/1 on them winning the conference game? bizarre!

Boyles have Bohs at 11/1 for the FAI cup, they also have Derry priced at 10/1 but Bohs knocked them out - i.e. they haven't updated the price since the quarter final, Paddy had them at 9/2 yesterday.

They'll take your bet and then cancel it later and say it was a mistake.

Possibly but worst case then you get the 9/2 that was available elsewhere and still have a winning bet.

I'd fancy Bohs ahead of Cork anyway, will be sticking that on.

That joke was funny twenty years ago.
------------- Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.
