Slide and Splash is the biz Thumbs%20Up fookin love that place.
Friends of mine have a villa out there near the town of Tavira.
I love the place. Last year we went to a restaurant up in the hills that was recommended to us by a local pub owner.

6 of us, all had starters, mains and dessert, (4 Steaks in the mains), about 12 beers and 2 bottles of wine, total bill was €82!! I sh*t you not. We were gobsmacked. Gave them €100 and they were almost embarrassed by the size of the tip we gave them.

Also, you're only 45 minutes from Seville in Spain if you fancy a change.
Portugal is the way to go.
Wherebouts are you Count?

Quality spot alright, usually get over once or twice a year. Stay in Sao Rafael, about 10 mins from Albufeira. The main strip has gone downhill a bit in recent years but the old town is great. The Black Hole in slide and splash Clap

It’s a lovely spot. Not far outside Lisbon and easily accessible. It’s a small posh sea side town with nice bars and restaurants. I spent a Paddy’s day there a few years back. I’d happily return again.

Its very nice, granted I was last there 15 years ago. The beach in Estoril (walking distance) is gorgeous when not packed, and as was said, about a one hour train ride to Lisbon. The restaurants in Cascais were fantastic.
