CPR was performed twice, unsure at the moment is whether he suffered a second heart attack after being revived first. He is currently in Intensive Care and rumour is he is stable.
Not much more known now, more to follow.

I hope he makes a full recovery but this could have a serious affect on his career. Sergio Sanchez and Ruben De La Red still haven't been given the go ahead to play competitive football.

A lot of clubs arent zizu, including the top European leagues. In fairness to the FAI every LOI player has a heart check every season as far as i know.

News this morning states he is still in hospital, but stable. Will probably be kept overnight for a few more days. But pretty much the end of his career I reckon.
He was dreadfull at Celtic, and I haven't a clue why Ajax ever bought him.Even if he does make a full recovery, hard to find a club that will go for a very average player with heart problems.Good to hear he's stable though and hope he gets well soon.

From the examiner -

Ajax midfielder Evander Sno had be to revived by a defibrillator on three occasions after suffering a cardiac arrest during last night’s reserve game at Vitesse Arnhem, according to coach Albert van der Dussen.

The 23-year-old fell to the ground 18 minutes after coming on as a half-time substitute and was treated on the pitch for more than 10 minutes before being taken to hospital.

“At first I thought he stumbled, but very quickly everyone realised there was something seriously wrong due to the foam around his mouth,” Van der Dussen told AD.

“Fortunately our doctor and physio were there quickly. They have performed an heroic act and saved his life.

“They gave him the defibrillator three times. We feared for his life, he was very lucky.”

Sno, who started his career at Feyenoord before spells at NAC Breda, Celtic, Ajax and Bristol City, finally came round.

“He looked surprised to see all those people there,” added Van der Dussen.

“I don’t think he realised what was going on but everyone was greatly relieved.

“The ambulance crew then took over and took him to hospital.”
