Feeeerhouse Clover vs Terenure CYM this coming sunday at 11.

Anyone like to make any predictions??

BTW, Gerk plays for Firhouse and Count plays for Terenure.

Firhouse are the on form team and will be the favourites but surely Count and his lot will have something to say about that and will want to dent Gerk's promotion hopes...

It's a long way till sunday. If going face to face with Gerk on a footy pitch cant motivate you to get back then nothing will. Prediction Count?

2 all..... terenure came back from 2 nil down. they got a controversial peno in 2nd half to begin the comeback. gerk put the corner in for their 1st goal.

fair result as both sides had chances late on to win the game
as fot the battle going on between count and gerk?.....I'd say its still going on....2 oul wansSmile

cy goalkeeper man of the match in my opinion... couple of quality saves

count kept gerk quiet for a lot of the game and has to be commended considering he was carrying an injury

MERRY CHRISTMAS

2-2 promotion chances for the GerK officially over, + fat red face after ball full force in the face in second half. To add insult to injury GerK then taken off with 20 to go as hadnt touched the ball in the second half.

Played right back myself as only 50 % fit as black foot was still hanging about with bits of yellow about aswell, so was marking GerK for the game as we werent playing a right midfielder. Bit lost meself as dont play right back and we had a poor first half going in 2-nil down at half time. Change of shape then for the second and we hockeyed them, should have won to be honest as Fearhouse just bottled it and lost their promotion chances aswell. Fearhouse lucky to get a point against an injury ridden team with goalkeeper making a debut.

well thats it will wait for pizza face GerK's match summary later after he drowns his sorrows.

In fairness he did nuts me once early on but didnt call it and went nowhere with it, unlucky son.Clap, always next year.Cool

Good man Percy for the unbiased report; great to have ya back.

That's rightly fooked their promotion chances up....I'd say you're only chuffed count. Unlucky Gerk

doesnt bother me that much HM as was a big game for them, not for us. Wouldnt consider this a derby or a big game as they arent a big club and have no history in intermediate football! Came up the ranks over the last 4 years and then amalgamated with a bunch of tramps fron Fear-house, nuff said.

Yeah good report in fairness Percy, our goalie was quality, pulled off some great saves considering his only got an hours sleep (taxi driver), fair play to the lad. Did you see GerKs smacked arse face after the game Percy?

As for the game, we were cruising at 2-0, well on top against, for me, a very poor CYM side.

First half we were dominated, megged Count and ran him ragged.

We went 2 up, after I skinned Count and crossed and macker fired home the breaking ball.

A bit of complacency then on our part. 2 up and cruising but a dodgy peno decision changed the game and we just stopped after that.

It was CYM's Cup final and it says a lot a bit a team with the resources that they have to be celebrating a point at the end.
Promotion is still certainly there for Firhouse with four games left.

As for the personal battle eith Count. Well two assists, one nutmeg, make up your own minds.

As for the smack on the face, fuk me thought I was dead for a minute

PS, love the bit about Firhouse having no history in Intermediate football.
Kinda ironic coming from a lad who has played about 10 intermediate games in his whole life

Brilliant stuff lads, unbiased and balanced from Percy, with one-sided contributions from the 2 players involved.  It was bound to finish honours even but moral victory for Count for a Dave Langan "play through the pain" display at right back.  Although I'd loved to have seen GerK nutmegging the Count.

Don't mind that pain barrier bullsh*t, there was nothing wrong with the tramp

If you start the game you are fit enough.
I had to play with a bandaged up ankle but i didn't moan about it and make excuses

Another game on Wednesday and then fukin Friday. Know I know how wenger feels
