G'luck if it comes off, but yeah I reckon Limerick would have a serious hump if the FAI approve it. Amid all the dismissive comments about these games lads, the best thing about the Rovers v Real Madrid game last year was to see the Madrid players up close and enjoy their movement, skill, awareness and the rest, just light years ahead of anything you'd normally see, so I would always go see these players given the chance. I don't think anyone in Limerick would begrudge Athlone this game. Athlone made it very clear they had no objections to the Barca game. I hope they don't escape with the lucky draw that Trap's Milan team got at Mels in 1975. |
