Good news lads peep show has another two series commisssioned for this year and next with filming in the summer and it to be shown in the autumn.the best comedy since the office IMO.
Superhan's fatherly advice for Mark for when his son is born.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans
: So, uh, how's it all going with Soph and the baby?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593267/" rel="nofollow - Mark Corrigan : Oh, you know, for a while it's been pretty boring but I think we're getting to the utterly terrifying bit.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans : Take my advice, stay away from the goal end, mate.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593267/" rel="nofollow - Mark Corrigan : Yeah?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans : Yeah. You don't wanna get thinking about that. It's like the... it's like the Channel Tunnel. Lovely, it's all about your holidays, but imagine you saw a f**king huge baby coming out of it. Never be the same again.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593267/" rel="nofollow - Mark Corrigan : Right.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans : One other tip, trip.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593267/" rel="nofollow - Mark Corrigan : What?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans : Trip your f**king nuts off, makes it amazing.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593267/" rel="nofollow - Mark Corrigan : Isn't it pretty amazing anyway?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0455057/" rel="nofollow - Super Hans : Dunno. Yeah, maybe. But if you're tripping and you're having a baby, it's like "Fuuuck!" You know? You see a little guy come out of there, what's gonna happen next? Frogs out of her arsehole? Milk out of her ears? Anything's possible.

Overall id give series 8 7/10. stupid plotting with jeremy fancying dobby all of a sudden. The love triangle's been done before with sophie. some really sh*te bits in the last episode with mark playing football. nobody is that clueless about football terms or how its played. the last scene when they re electrocuting each other and chasing dobby is cringeworthy rubbish. highlights of the series that help it get a 7 are any scene with superhans (snakes in the room and taking speed at paintballing/ ranting about the yellow team). big mad andy and jeremys lifecoaching are brilliant. Overall the weakest of the series

I thought the 8th series was a pile of sh*te when I first watched it. I think it's gradually declined each year since the third series. I recorded all of the 8th series again and I'm going to watch them again to see if it's any better on second viewing.

They are usually aired in the Autumn, aren't they? So I'm sure they have time.
However, as Franko says, the last season wasn't the best, apart from a few memorable scenes with Super Hans.

I wouldn't mind if they did another season of 'That Mitchell and Webb look'. Was pretty funny and bizarre. Even pythonesque.

I find Mitchell and Webb Look very hit and miss (much like Python I suppose) Mitchell is naturally funnier than Webb imo and his Soapbox Youtube videos are excellent.

Does anyone know if E4 or More 4 show repeats of the current series?
Missed the last one on Wednesday night

You'll probably be able to find a link to it online.

What did people make of last series anyway?
6.5/10 for me. Hit and miss episodes.

Only seen a few so far of new season but the one with the dinner party with Mark thinks its just gonna be him and his unrequited love was one the funniest i have seen from all series. Defo gonna watch all sessions over the xmas in a haze. Season 8 was sh*te but the 2/3 i have seen from 9 have been good. Did it finish last night?

Yeah last night was the last. I'd say they'll do a few xmas specials no doubt.

Agreed with that, watched to the end of that episode. The 'threeism' thing was brilliantLOL

Apart from the dinner scene in the third episode with The white rum, vinegar, lettuce, salt 'Moroccan' cocktail being the highlight overall it's ran it's course. Season 9 wasnt great but seeing more of Superhans was a definite plus.

The last two seasons have been weakest out of the lot with stupid plotting and the repetitive (Mark chasing his true love)

Still in my 5 all time favourite comedy sitcoms despite the disappointing last two seasons.

Would love a spin off about Super Hans

Even on his wedding day we never found out his name...

Think his wife called him Simon in last episode

I think it'd be a disaster tbh. He's perfect at being the 'devil on Jeremy's shoulder' where I think it would be overkill if he has to be the main character.

The chemistry between Mark the 9-5 rational office worker, Jeremy the unemployed delusions of grandeur failed musician and the selfish Superhans is completely natural.

Superhans as a character completely suits a supporting role imo.

They should be up on channel4od, thats where I watched them.

Funniest moments of all the seasons were Mark's rant on Christmas day when he introduces Dobbie to his parents and when Superhans brings the snake to the party and is trying to make it dizzy LOL

Would have loved a rattle of big Suz Clap

Didn't think the final episode was that great tbh but overall thought it was a good season. Such a brilliant show - it shall definitely be missed. Cry

No idea mate!

It's on UK TV Gold every night so I'll watch the two episodes on that and whenever Channel 4 have it on i'll tune in.

So I could end up watching two episodes from season 4 on UK TV Gold and then go an watch an episode from season 1 on Channel 4!

The whole thing is on all 4, might start again from the start. The greatest British tv show of the 21st century, although they let it run a bit too long.

Great quote from one of the early episodes is when Jez is doing the shopping and talking to Mark on his mobile. Mark gently reminds him:

"Jez, your not just getting chocolate, crisps and booze in are you ?

"No ............ I also got dip !"

LOL

One of my all time favourite programmes. Although the last two series were shocking, series 1-5 are comic gold.

I think that's a bit harsh. They might not have been at the outrageously high standard of the earlier ones but there were some great episodes. The dinner party one in the last season was outstanding.

I'd love them to do an aul random Christmas special but highly unlikely.

Jeremy's plotlines in particular annoyed me in the last two series. Series six was ok, that Russian one was class, I just didn't think 7 & 8 were funny. One or two funny moments but nowhere near as good as 1-5.

Quality. I think we all need more Super Hans types in the world, it would be a better place.

Deserves a bump.

Watched the Xmas episode recently when Superhans crashes an already stressed Mark's Xmas dinner and then strolls by him into the flat declaring:

"Father Spliffmas coming through"

A much needed 2018 bump.

Watched the episode when Jeremy tries to lifecoach Big Mad Andy as he's having a complete breakdown. He ends up with the 'mental health crisis team'. LOL

Jeremy and Superhans in the cult is another classic.
