graham carey has been a star for st mirren while on loan there from celtic this season, he will definately be involved in celtics first team plans next year (from the bench mostly ) he has already scored against the the huns, check out this footage from 0108 onwards , from nearly getting his leg broke he nearly scores from the resulting freekick, his goal in the same game is a fecking peach, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8602922.stm , celtic and ireland have a proper player on our hands here, look out for him in the future

we should be delighted to say this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO-j-WQ0fG8

Bohs couldnt extend the loan deal beause of the transfer embargo put on us last summer.  He was decent enough when he did play and does have alot of talent, hopefully its not wasted by spending a long time playing in Scotland.

All things considered the Scotting Prem is better than the Irish league.

Would have to disagree with ya there MrF, thought he was excelllent in the games i saw him play for Bohs, and Fenlon was a big fan of his.

He was well loved at Bohs, we tried to sign him or extend the loan but couldnt because of a transfer embargo. Alot of Bohs fans were sad to see him go! He defo has a future in the game, but at level remains to be seen

Relegated with Plymouth today, I wonder will he be picked up by another L1 side after a less impressive season? Niall Canavan also relegated with Plymouth; Liam Kinsella with Walsall; while Anthony O'Connor, Eoin Doyle, Billy Clarke, Sean Scannell, and Reece Staunton all go down with Bradford.

There will certainly be interest in him but I doubt he will leave. He seems incredibly settled in the town.

There is going to be a massive clear out at Bradford and O'Connor seems to top the list of those wanted out. I would imagine they would be slower to let the others go, Doyle in particular.

I, personally, would only count first division winners' medals and cup trophies.

Does anybody really care about winning the second division?

Promotion is the be all and end all.

A man who clearly has never won trophies as an amateur footballer! Of course winning the league is more celebrated than say just gaining promotion.

Read today that he has 18 assists in 66 games for CSKA Sofia.

Might consider himself a bit unlucky he hasn't gotten a call-up, but I guess Kenny doesn't want to make a rod for his own back considering the way he's ruled out McGeady.

Still, 32 is around the age Wes got his chance and I'm not sure Carey's ever relied on pace.

There are only two players in the Bulgarian League with more assists than him this season.

Has scored 4 times in Europe already this season. To put that into perspective, Robbie Keane's highest tally in Europe is 5 goals in the 2006/2007 season.

Wonder what the record is for an Irish player in one season.

Not throwing shade. Just curious if Carey could break the record for most goals scored in a European campaign by an Irish player.
