A month and a bit to go, so here goes...

1. Shamrock Rovers
2. Cork
3. Dundalk
4. Sligo
5. Pats
6. Limerick
7. Bohs
8. Derry
9. Galway
10. Bray
11. Longford
12. Drogheda

If Shamrock get another striker in as rumoured they'll be strong favourites to win it. Cork will have another good season, Dundalk too but they will miss Hoban's goals. Limerick will i think be fired up with their return to the Markets Field.

Bottom 4-5 you could pick anyone but Drogheda don't seem to have a great squad at the mo and could struggle.

I'd expect Longford to finish ahead of Galway, Bray and Drogs. Maybe ahead of Derry, Bohs and Limerick as well.

Rovers to improve
Dundalk to miss hobans goals
Cork wont win as many late points.

Think pats are being written off too easily. Lost fahey but we re stronger at the back and unchanged elsewhere. Will be an interesting year

Although it still very early days to be predicting with squads far from finalised I broadly agree alot with what Saint Tom has to say. I still think Rovers need two-three strikers, a winger and a couple of defenders. I know Fenlon is working on this, with a few in mind abroad so it will be interesting to see how the next month pans out for ourselves..

I'm not quite sure why a good few people on here think Rovers will win the league , when they've essentially only added a good midfielder and offloaded deadwood like kilduff & mcguinness.

Cork were oh so close last year, in caulfieds 1st year in charge, and i think shep could have  good season next year.

at the mo i'd go for...

 1 Cork
2 dundalk
3 Rovers
4 pats
5 sligo
6 Limerick
7 bohs
8 galway
9 longford
10 bray
11 derry
12 Drogheda

I think it will be between Cork and Dundalk again this year.  Replacing Hoban will be key for D'Town obviously.

Pre season optimism has set in, our signings are inspiring we have the best midfield in world football, could even get maximum points and win the Europa League
