2 Nil wins for both Dudnalk in the Molly Malone Cup & for Pats Vs Shels.

Cobh beat Limerick 3-2. Hard to know if that's an improvement in Cobh or sign of things to come for Limerick. Didn't realise they'd signed Aidan Price & Vinny Faherty. A long difficult season in Prospect, (no pun intended).

Our squad is pretty weak at the moment.  Cobh fully deserved their win.  We equalised twice but were second best for most of the game.  It's going to be a long season.

Still hard to know where Rovers are at, they've played very poor sides. Athlone and Shelbourne are the the best sides we have/are going to play.
That's not saying much as they are playing in a very poor first division.
I won the Player of the Century award thanks to the people.Pele was second. He also came second behind Aryton Senna as Brazil's greatest sportsman. The award FIFA gave Pele isn't worth sh*t - Maradona

At least the new lads seem to be settling in ok. Fifth is minimum for us this season. Anything above that will be a good season.

I am wondering what kind of game Chris Morrows testimonial will be like? Just like a "regular" friendly match or more like a showmatch?

What do you think about it? Could be nice for betting on many goals. Big smile

https://www.facebook.com/chrismorrowtestimonial

Hutton seems to take it very seriously Ermm

Tomorrow’s match against Irish League side Crusaders is for Chris Morrow’s testimonial and Hutton is expecting a tough and useful exercise for his players.

“Pre-season has been going well. We have another two games to go now which will be good tests against two big, strong and physical sides. So they will offer us something different than what we’ve come up against so far.”

Crusaders 2-4 Derry City. Six different goalscorers and all either play or played for Derry. No sign of Pat McCourt Cry , but SEANAN CLUCAS played in midfield. What an outstanding name Clap
Previously with Linfield, Preston & Bristol Rovers. Is he a trialist or loanee SHH?

Trialist but signed up straight after the game so must have turned it on. Former Preston and Bristol rovers, probably good to have but not really what we need

Cheers.  What type of player in what position would you like to see? Ye look ok in an attacking sense. I presume you mean another central defender or full back is required?

We badly need 2 full backs , we'll be good at 1-11 I think and could surprise a few people but once we get injuries and suspensions I think we will struggle . Like we are missing a few already with suspensions from last season, ridiculous rule !!!

Match abandoned at half time between Harps and the muckers because the dogtrack is in sh*te. Harps one up with Ruiri Keating peno in first minute. Like England/Ireland 95 result still standsLOL
