When one of the first things to come out of his mouth is a big pat on the back for John Delaney, you know the whole thing would be fairly pointless.

I can just imagine some blazer telling Jonathan, 'Now it's very important that you give John a big huge compliment on how great he is, it's gives him a warm fuzzy glow inside. The supporters clubs do it the stake holders looking for a new role do it, basically we just want to hear anything that makes John look good. As for your report ah who cares about that'

Until they get the stadiums right it's pointless. Everyone needs to be able to (a) sit in a seat (b) get a coffee/tea at halftime and (c) go to the toilet. Until the stadiums can give those comfortably to the fans, there's no point in the extra marketing, any new fans will show up once, say "this isn't very nice" and never return.

So anyway, it would seem that after some criticism of him online from LOI fans, Mr Gabay has blocked access to his twitter account, or taken it down or some such, while accusing same fans of anti semitism, of all things. 


If you were cynically minded, you might think that is a handy way of deflecting attention from the report, and the contents of it. I've seen this tactic somewhere before from somebody with FAI connections, luckily, I don't really remember any other details........................
