I know Bamford has scored a few goals already this season but he is crap. Hasn't got a snot's chance of making England's Euro squad and would be behind McGoldrick, Connolly and Robinson for me with Parrot, Idah and Obefemi still to come good.

No idea why he is still being talked about as a potential Ireland player. He is an English nationalist. Delete.

He's not great but he scores goals unlike the others you listed.

Kenny’s Kids highlighting an 18 year old midfielder stan Flaherty at Newcastle. On a rich run of goals and assists for the U23s. Never played for us but I’m assuming he knows something about his background.
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

This kid scored again yesterday. Never heard of him before and he isn’t in the U21 squad

Stephen Kenny is meeting Patrick Bamford on Monday. Inside source, fingers crossed he comes on board.

We are in desperate need of a decent striker and I don't care if he previously turned us down (something he refutes anyway).

Not sure how true this is but even if it was I can't see Bamford considering Ireland.

Option wise, Bamford can choose England where he won't play in any tournaments that England qualify for OR he could choose Ireland where he won't play any tournaments with either.

People said I was nuts when I knew about 2 players pulling out of the squad due to Covid for the Slovakia game hours before it emerged. We live in hope this goes well

It would be a huge coup for us but I just can't see it. He was inky talking about breaking into the England squad for the Euros a couple of weeks ago.

I'm deadly serious, it is happening on Monday. Would be some coup for us but he did mention ambitions for England only a few weeks ago

I’m not doubting you aviva and if your info is true and if he wasn’t interested despite his comments about England intentions then why the fock would he meet Kenny.

You’ve no reason to doubt aviva, he didn’t post it.

if bamford was lukewarm about a call up while a championship player, its hard to see him joining now he's a premier league top scorer. worth sk asking him but I would be pessimistic

Strange one if true, why would he be willing to meet Kenny on the quiet . Especially if he wasnt interested  in meeting mick and not some way open to the idea of representing us.
