Bamford wont happen let it go at this sage, Crowley will be a good option and Delap is the real deal, not many 17 year old strikers are brought into prem teams never mind Man City, he should look at Grealsih situation with England and relaise the talent in front of him is deep and hopefully his aufella has a word.

Yeah we need to quell the Bamford talk until such a time as he comes out and states he wishes to declare for us.
Delap is firmly in the English system and grew up there so the only way he'd look at us is a few years down the road if he has fallen down the order and sees no future playing for England. Forget about him now for a few years and forever, like above, until he comes out and declares for us officially. Crowley looks like another lad who is in and out of a Championship team. Lots of early promise but he's 23 now and not a regular starter in the 2nd tier. He's not going to save us. |

Bamford no, it is done here. He confirmed as much. Move along.
Liam Delap, its definitely worth a try. I'm sure it has to have been already been looked into though. I think the fact that Rory himself was (A) second generation and (B) not an irish legend is going to work against us. Wishful thinking if would be great but can't see it. Crowley definitely good to have another option. I imagine this should happen in due course

Soooo big eligibility rule change and realistically there is zero benefit for us.
I know that we should work with what we have but I was hoping someone knew more than me with regard to possible future declared players. To be honest, I haven't got a clue who is and who isn't available to us now since the rule change...is johannson eligible again... haven got a clue. (Not that he's the finished article yet) Defence we look ok for now Midfield options looking better but need a quality creative player. Problem areas are goalkeeper and someone to put the ball in the net.

Doubtful, assuming he submitted his Sweden papers and why wouldn't he have? He was talking a few months ago about how proud he was to hopefully play for them. As it stands, he's miles away from that and can't even make their 21's squad, but he could be injured. There is a world where he never submitted his papers and declares for us and becomes a world-beater...but it's likely not this world! Crowley is a nice tidy footballer and will likely come into squad-contention but he'd need to be looking to become a regular at his current level before he does anything for us. He's appeared in only two of four league games this season so would seem to be a ways off a regular spot. |

Bamford absolutely no to that sh*te hawk he was asked by mick and did nothing....jog on.
Danny Crowley no issues with him but worth noting he does not always start in an average Birmingham team and when he does he often gets subbed...good as an option but not losing sleep over his recruitment. Liam Delap is wishful thinking...hope to be proven wrong and we have no carrot π₯ to dangle such as the Euros either. Just my opinion |

Anyone who mentions Bamford on here in a non-Leeds context deserves to be buried.

Crowley is not a striker but by all means try and push the registration through.
Bamford has been asked so forget about him. Delap is worth pursing to a certain extent. None of us really know if he has any interest or not. Delap is very promising but so is Idah, Parrott, Obefimi, Connoly etc I see 3 of these becoming regular premier league strikers. Only one i am not sure about is Parrott and thats just because he hasn't played any senior football and the others have and done well in patches while looking raw at the same time. |

Does anyone watch Callum OβHare and Ben Wilmot because if you do, are they worth approaching?

Flynn Clarke, 17. Peterborough first team squad this season qualifies for us. Attacking mid. England, Scotland and Ireland are his choices. Was told the FAI were early on it but Scotland also.

Best of luck to him, we can now close the door, lock it with the key, melt the key down and bury it in the garden. Not sure why he didn't just say it in the first place.

Because these players prefer to use our countries name in the media in order to put pressure on the English coaching staff to pick them rather than genuinely wanting to play for us. Now that Bamford thinks he has a chance with England he no longer has to use our name anymore. Edited by grannyrule - 17 Oct 2020 at 11:27pm |
