Marcus Harness, who has apparently declared for us, scored for Portsmouth last night.

Seems a lively enough player in the highlights clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joU912nNt3Y

Has he been tried and tested? He certainly sounds like a safe option.
Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

Hmmmm. I wonder why it took this League 1 player 6 or 7 years to declare for us

No-one wanted to saddle him with the pressure of having to decide until now

It didn't. He declared his interest about 3 years ago when he was 20.
We're decent enough..

Mick has described him as one for the future , presumably if he can rein in his enthusiasm when he's got the bit between his teeth . As well as Marcus and Ronan Curtis , who is having a fine season , the Portsmouth central defender Sean Raggett ( on loan from Norwich ) is also Irish eligible and keen to play for us .

He's been improving. He just needed the right manager to harness his abilities. It seems he's just about ready to make the leap. He couldn't get a place in the team before with so many others jockeying for position. Given the chance a while back, he really seized the reins. He definitely provides them with a stable position in midfield.

Harness is a right sided winger, so he’s probably got a good chance of a look in under kenny. Still our weakest area
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Makes sense as we are strapped for talent on the right wing!
