But that is all they are. Were Bamford to change his mind about us in the morning he would be in the next squad, regardless of how you feel.

I disagree. When you have the likes of Robinson, Obafemi and Long at Premier League clubs, you would arguably have them ahead of Bamford in the pecking order. These 3 are more than just prospects
You might have Obafemi and Long ahead of him, but a kid with a few appearances and a non-scoring striker are hardly significantly better options.
I can understand why people might not be keen on Bamford, but it is just silly to make out he isn’t good enough for us. I wish he wasn’t!
Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

Derry lad David Parkhouse scored a hatrick tonight and currently part of the provinces set up is doing very well last few weeks. Could be one to keep an eye on.

He’s not, also thought he’d declared for us, or was touted

Anyone know anything about Lewis John O'Brien?

Promising 20 year old attacking midfielder at Huddersfield. Had a successful loan spell with Bradford in league 1 last season and was on the bench for Huddersfield last night.

With a name like that and the big ginger head on him you'd imagine theres something there.

Quick Google says he's German/American, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Josh McPake of Rangers is reportedly being spoken to about changing allegiance. Strange that the FAI would go all in on him, but seem to have made no real effort to speak to Johnston. It'd certainly be an easier switch for a Celtic player to make in terms of supporter reception.
