Is this someone to make a difference or just another also ran of those who tend to declare?

He's that good so far this season, his breakout season, I'm suspicious this is leverage over the English FA.

Declaring as a young player on the up, you'd assume no one could have an issue with that but evidently there still are those who do.
We're decent enough..

He is nowhere near. Honestly he is a level down from Clarje and a decent pickup. We are the best he can do. His ceiling is still nowhere near England level

Was in the mix for their 21s before the injury.

Is he not overage for their 21s?

Anyone know what's the latest on the rules here? Once he gets his paperwork sorted will he still be able to switch back to England? Or 3 caps needed for him to be tied down?

A very decent pickup. What works out nicely is that he was born in November 2001 so is six weeks overage for England Under 21s. So no Tom Cannon type tug-of-war issues to contend with.

In terms of committing him to Ireland, as he is over 21 a single competitive cap would be sufficient for him to be fully tied to us.

Fair enough. Was just going by Leicester forum speculation that he was in the frame.

Do we know his links yet  ?

Got this reply from a lad from Leicester I know

Fair play to him - not being funny but he's not good enough for England. But he's an absolutely quality winger for us and is tearing it up in the championship, so will be good for you I think/hope

That’s quality. Was only googling about him a few weeks ago as he was very good in the 1st half when Liverpool pool played Leicester a few weeks ago but couldn’t find anything about an Irish link.
Out of all the names listed I was excited if it could be him so quality that is the case
