Agustin Creevy, plays rugby for Argentina. He has to be eligible.

Jason Byrne asked him when they were both guests on Soccer Am a few weeks ago, he said he has no Irish connection

According to Transfermarkt (not always reliable) James and John Murphy - with LAFC and NY Red Bull respectively - are both eligible.

Great spot DD.  20 yo left back apparently likely to be starting for mid-table erddivisie side.

Hopefully Mick and Kenny will take note and he'll be directly approached - and at least considered for a spot in the 21s.

If he's starting in the Dutch League, you'd imagine he'll be called up by NZ ASAP. It'd be a tough one as we'd likely only be able to offer him U-21 football in an immediate sense.
We're decent enough..

Can't see it happening, but he'd be a fine addition.

I'd rather he work with what we have as opposed to some 20 something uncapped England player.

He's only 24, has already played for England's senior side once also.

Unrealistic that we'll get him but he would be an excellent player to have on board.

Surprised me that he’s only 24, though he was 27/28.

Yeah thought he was about 28 myself.

It doesn't matter that he's a good player or not. It's not a good message to young Irish players busting their gut to get a cap to be over looked by a player whose called into the squad primarily on the fact that simply were not good enough for England.

No issue with players born outside of Ireland playing for Ireland but would much rather they did this at a much earlier age i.e 21 or younger.

We have essentially no options on the right wing; how getting a Premier League right-winger on board could be a bad thing is beyond me.

I would myself "but" right now we're in a desperate situation squad wise, badly lacking some genuine quality (match winners) in attacking areas and I think we'd be foolish to not even attempt to approach the likes of Redmond.

England had no problem approaching Declan Rice though, I don't see why we should read too much into Redmond playing for England before imo.

In truth since the days of Jack, we've had dozens of cast offs and players not wanted playing for us who were English born and we've done alright.
