Paul Smyth interview in the Daily star today. Rules out a switch for now.... and basically says he dosent know who he will declare for in the future .
Also says he dosent know if hes good enough for either side and says the republic have plenty of strenght in depth which sounds like it could put him off.

Says he hopes to get called up for the Norths 2 games in the summer and will see after that.

The plot thickens.

2 for Bamford today against lowly Sunderland. JOS starts for Sunderland, McGeady on the bench, Wilson and Gibson still injured. Looks like League 1 football for the lot of them next year.
We're decent enough..

Only just seeing this. Didn't realise he qualified either.

But just repeating what he said, place him alongside McGeady as can't get in the first team of a club who's bottom of the league also

He played for Scotland U19s in a friendly against Denmark yesterday in Spain. They've another match with Austria tomorrow.

A lot of his Rangers teammates are in that Scotland squad, you'd imagine that may well swing him towards them.

Speaking of Rangers, we already know Greg Docherty is eligible. Sean Goss in their midfield is eligible too, isn't he?
The only way is up

Born in Germany, but in a British Forces hospital. Da is English (I think) and people who follow Twitter are saying his Ma (from NI?) has confirmed he's eligible for NI:

Another goal for Bamford tonight. He's been impressive. His style reminds me a bit of McGoldrick; languid and skilful.

*and a second. Call him up Trap!
