Former U-17 player Marcus McGuane is being linked with the likes of Juventus and Manchester City, I suspect he may no longer be eligible for us though unfortunately.

Ethan Ampadu signed by Chelsea.
Also called up by Wales for the (competitive) qualifiers. Coleman saying in press conference that he may give him a debut. Pity to lose out on a player of such potential, particularly when his Da played for us.

Its good to have another young striker on board but I still wouldn't be convinced he is much better than other options. At the moment I would confidently say Maguire & Hogan are ahead.

He'll be handy if he got back to full fitness but needs a run of football before even being considered

A player who is mentioned a lot but never seems to actually play matches, never mind score a goal 4 goals in his career, and he's 24? No thanks Edited by Roberto Baggio - 29 Aug 2017 at 10:46am |

No issue with him declaring tbh, another striker at a good age looking to come on board.
As it's been pointed out, if he can get himself back to full fitness I have no doubt he will do very well in The Championship. It's a bit unfair to criticize him for games played/goals scored so far in his career given how many injuries he's had. 6 months ago we were wondering will we have anyone on the right side of 30 to consider as a genuine option up front, now there's Hogan and Keane along with Maguire. Nothing can be lost by having a bigger playing pool of players to choose from, it's up to the player to get himself in a position for O'Neill to call him up.

never saw him play. more options up front the better. hopefully he comes back from injury. what type of player is he?if he declares for us officially, even if he is not capped is he stuck with us. because he has already played for England he would not be able to re switch (i.e. does it even matter if he is capped once the paperwork goes through)?

4 championship goals is his total. Several fellas ahead of him who don't get a look in. If we're to go on goals scored, then surely Sheridan, Mason, McGoldrick, Rooney and one or two other lads hanging around the championship must be ahead.

He banged them in for Man U Reserves, think he has been unlucky with injury since he moved up to main teams.
