Thanks.  It's a Canon EOS 20D with a Canon lens that was more expensive than I wanted to pay!
I can't make the game tomorrow.  Does anybody need a ticket?

will give you the short version of my last saturday experience, but I had my 7 year old daughter with me - face painted and all! (mad irish - and shane long! fan) and we drove an hour to a boozer here in Florida  that advertised they were showing the game. anyhow, game was being show tape delay 3 hours later to accommodate england / france in the rugby world cup!.  try explaining why an Irish bar, with a feed from a company called Setanta!, are showing english rugby instead of Irish soccer!.
Here was the official response that i got from the good citizens at Setanta:
**note the optimism about the mathematics of our chances prior to game!

The Ireland match on Saturday was not scheduled to go out live due to the fact that it clashed with a RWC match and also that unfortunately, there was no mathematical chance of Ireland qualifying.  If you check the schedule on our website, www.setanta.com, you can get the most accurate scheduling info there.

The PPV companies do not like to pick up any games except England ones, generally, as they do not see them generating revenue.  Right now, your best bet is to continue to go to the bar, because there is no good alternative to see the games live.  Sorry about your experience.

That was to BB and not me correct Count??

Didn't see that going on right around Count.... thank God, I would have lost it... but I did see one of my friends tell me he was going to the club in the 80th minute... typical home crowd.

But I imagine if I were in the states for the match it would have been the same story....

I did almost miss my flight back to LA on Sunday... was woken up by my friends wife at 9am and got to the aerfort at 10am for the 11am flight.... almost didn't make it back through the US Immigration line.  And Yes, I was still drunk...
