I think this is spot on.

f**k off Bamford-Mogg
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

You could just do the opposite of what Bergkamp did and only play in the games on the continent.

He doesn't seem committed to us or to have any passion about the idea of playing for us

Is he even close to one? They have a number of striking options, many of which are younger and better than Bamford.

We don’t need an answer, Patrick. We’ve stopped asking the question.

Plenty of players would have waited for a while too if they felt they had the opportunity, I don’t know why people are getting high and mighty about Bamford doing it. In saying that, I don’t know what he is waiting for as it seems incredibly unlikely. Maybe he isn’t sure about international football at all.
His form has been more miss than hit for his club but we certainly aren’t in a position to turn someone of his ability down.

I've more chance of being called up by Blightly than he does Clown.

Those Burnley lads who ended up playing for England in the last couple of years have a lot to answer for. They've made every English born player in the bottom half of the PL and the championship think- if they can do it...never say never.

LOL

Sounds like Bamford would be as committed as Harry Arter is.

So two keepers and a centre half huuummm  you could call it 3 keepers but one has left .

Nick Pope 2018
James Tarkowski 2018
Jack Cork 2017
Tom Heaton 2017

No offence to Burnley at all who've done great, but it wouldn't have happened years ago when there were more English born players at bigger clubs.
