Both goals superb. His touch, movement, everything. A proper talent. Roy will have filled his notebook at the Riverside.

Roy there today? It's a position we desperately need a natural finisher in

Is he definitely eligible? He might fancy his chances given the fact Berahino, Kane are well ahead of him for an England place. Terrible rationale however.

Yep. He played for us at youth level so definitely eligible.

According to this he's set on England, but he would be a great addition. He seriously looks like a huge talent.

Pretty sure MON named him as one he would like to chase when he took the job but Bamford was quoted in the days after saying he wasnt interested. Only a young fella, he'll have his sights on England for sure.

I'd Love to see Bamford, but I've been thinking about who these players could be..
In my opinion, Conor Wickham has to well up there to be declaring for us, he's 0 hopes with England ever.

Wickham's dad is from Northern Ireland and ex British army, doubt he'd play for us tbh.

I was well aware his Dad is from Northern Ireland, didnt know he was a solder mind you. Knew his dad was called 'Steafan' same as myself.. Which would suggest being more incline to cheering for the ROI. Since he's a solder that theory is out the window.
This is quite the mystery O'Neill has give us all.

Wickham gets huge stick from the Sunderland fans, but I see something in him. He rarely gets a run of 5 - 10 games being played up front as the main centre forward which has hampered his development imo + his attitude has dived as a result of this frustration.

I suppose there would be no harm in asking him is interested in playing for us, it's actually that simply which is getting me slightly annoyed by the lack of progress our management team are making in regard to recruiting new faces.

I agree fully, however i believe Cyrus Christie is going to be an excellent addition. McGoldrick to has something about him, he's a proven goal scorer and creative. Arter is having an excellent season also, and reports from the US seem to suggest Lamar Neagle is next in line to follow. Obviously we'd rather have more known players but he cant be anyworse then Paul Green to name just one. I believe O'Neill about new players due to what he's done so far getting Christie to turn down Gareth Southgate, its just who is next.. is the mystery

If Lamar Neagle gets called up, Sean Scannell could feel hard done by. He's having a great season playing the same role in a tougher league.

Wickham is not for us. Bamford is a different class.
