We fook it up if we tried going nuclear. First it would go wildly over budget and then the finished article would be handed over to the church to run.

The question on the poll makes no sense with the availabile responses. Would be against nuclear but we got a quote for solar a few weeks back. Had two suppliers look at it, one said he couldn't do it full stop and other said it wasn't economically feasible with our roof. Fair amount of flat roof on extensions when we bought the place.

EDF last night said its new UK nuclear plant Hinkley Point C will cost £25bn-£26bn compared to the £18bn estimate when it got the go-ahead in 2016.
given the clusterf**k we have made at building hospitals just imagine the scale of the financial disaster if we attempted to build our own nuclear power plant.
