The De Boers always looked like they should have been playing rugby for South Africa. They were fine footballers.

I always thought Frank De Boer was fairly sh*te 

His pass to Bergkamp worked out well but it was a hit and hope

I thought Frank was the better of the too. I also think it was a great pass, rather than hit and hope.

Remembered for two assists (Rivaldo and Bergkamp). Thought he was a good footballer but definitively suspect.

He was in the total football school of defending alright! Lovely on the ball, not the greatest defender. To paraphrase Jack Charlton, he was a defender who thought he was a footballer.
