None of them would make the team. McNair would make the squad. Ballard also possibly. Marshall is one I would have liked to get on board for the long term.

Our under 21s are stronger than their senior team on paper.

Armstrong and Emakhu up top is championship standard, their team is generally league 1 level.

Why is this in the Ireland thread?

Hopefully the mods remove it to ROW.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

No, it does belong here, we are comparing our near neighbours squad.

This is relevant, since we can draw from the same player pool.

For example, some of the subs can still switch allegiance to ROI.

EG. Young Forbes who was WHU U18 Captain

All players born in the North of Ireland, qualify for the Republic also.

Therefore, we should be keeping tabs on their team.

Really? That's good to know. LOLWink

Your thread title is misleading so you'll need to word it better seeing as Finland have nothing to do with it.

This is the NI team that faced Finland this evening.

We are comparing this team to the ROI team.

It's not difficult to understand.

Yes and your thread title gives the impression that you're comparing them with the Finland team rather than our national side
