Updated there.

FAO Green Cockade

You ever hear of the time aliens walked into an SAS ambush in Armagh that time they were staking out an IRA weapons cache?

Must be part of a wider cover up.

The SAS would never or rarely admin to casualties. The East Tyrone brigade took out an SOS unit in the early 90's and it was kept in house. The soldiers apparently died in a car crash in Germany AFAIK.

Read that on a Reddit thread alright, that they chalked soldier casualties in the North to deaths abroad in training exercises abroad etc.

Marty McCaughey led operation in Cappagh. That's why they were so determined to get him. The bastards also lost scum in ambushes in Stewartstown, Gortgonis and obviously (too many to mention) South Armagh. All covered up. Apparently, their memorial inside their Hereford base lists a lot more than was ever publicly acknowledged.

McCaughey was at one point a SF councillor, the youngest elected representative in Ireland at the time though he was more interested in the military rather than the political wing and was killed in his early twenties. He and Dessie Grew were set up for assassination and there was a massive cover-up. Re the unreported casualties, there were frequent stories about those going the rounds in South Armagh over the years and given the backgrounds of many of the British Army recruits ( Borstal boys, broken families, etc) they would not have had many to mourn them anyway.

Not just SAS. Many working in Belfast docks in early 70s recall number of unmarked coffins being shipped back to England, never acknowledged, Brit casualties of IRA. Clare Short raised Cappagh ambush in Parliament, basically asking why MoD was lying about what was witnessed by many locals, including local parish priest who saw the bodies and witnessed whining SAS bastards crying about their mates, but was fobbed off. This is why we will eventually win our freedom. They are liars. Have always been liars. And truth will always prevail. TAL.

This could be posted in any number of threads but there’s a documentary called The Lost Boys coming out soon (says online that it premiered in the IFI last week) which looks at the links between the RUC, MI5, British government, paramilitaries and the sexual abuse at places like Kincora and the disappearance of 5 boys in the late 60’s/70’s.

I heard of two cases this week that it will probably come put in an inquiry that the UVF acted in collusion with security forces. The new bill will stop both cases being heard. Seamus Dillon and Sean Brown

Downing Street has said it made a "mistake" after it uploaded a social media post celebrating Northern Ireland using the Irish tricolour.

Number 10 has since edited the Instagram post to remove all reference to the flag for the Republic of Ireland.

The initial post read: "Yesterday we celebrated the culture of Northern Ireland with a reception in Downing Street.
