The Bible Bashers in the DUP and other Unionist parties doing their nut in today over abortion and same sex marriage They really are dinosaurs. They like to be different from the rest of the UK when it suits their backward agendas. |

It shows their stupidity that they were going all in in backing Brexit to the hilt 4 years ago. What did they expect? And this is before the spending in their working class areas reduces if Brexit ever goes ahead

I would imagine they expected the opinion polls to at least be somewhat accurate and that therefore they could enjoy some unabashed token jingoism without any actual repercussions. They were delightfully wrong.

Notwithstanding the undoubted benefits of the social change that is hopefully about to happen in NI, at a more fundamental level it appears that the DUP are refusing to entertain a product of direct Westminster rule, and Sinn Fein are embracing it. These are indeed strange times.

He's an easy figure to ridicule because of the fact he's an absolute space cadet...However, he's also dangerous IMO. He's fanning the flames big time and will be one of the figures responsible if there is loyalist violence. How reputable jurno's are giving him the oxygen to spout his high pitched sh*te mond boggling. The baw bag was interviewed on RTE and Virgin in the last week alone.
