Why he is right. Connolly shot an unarmed Dublin Metropolitan Policeman dead. He wasn't RIC.He shot him in cold blood. Eben the men under his  command were appalled. Breen to be fair shot the RIC men as they raised their weapons- well according to the BMH witness statements from those who were there.

I would disagree. The political means only came about as a result of a messy war that was protracted by mismanagement by the British government.
