Yeah we haven't the funds to be anywhere near getting Premiership managers, I doubt we could even compete with the Championship these days.
It's all well and good saying who we would like to get but people need to be realistic to who our next manager will be.
It will be a Carsley type appointment

But they probably weren't happy with the ROI from Vestergaard, Soumaré and Daka the previous summer. Bertrand came in on a free transfer as well. It looked like a good transfer window on paper.

Iversen should have came in for Ward sooner. He's done fairly well since getting his chance.

They did buy Faes and Kristiansen for decent money, and brought in Souttar in January.

Leicester shouldn't be this bad.

Rodgers was hamstrung a little by the board this season, spent nothing to replace the players that left. Schmeichel, in particular, was a massive loss for them. Knew he was in trouble, but they couldn't afford to sack him so he held out until they had no choice.

He regularly had them 5th and won The FA Cup. He did a good job overall. 

He does have a bit of a bottle gene though. Leicester should have secured CL football at least once.

I'm not really too fussed about Ireland being defensively solid. We've had lots of managers who are pragmatic. As long as we're playing good football and winning more games than we're losing, that's all I want/can ask from Ireland at present. Kenny has failed on the winning side of things. Some decent football at times.

We can't offer a great financial package, so will have to try younger coaches. Maybe we can get Anthony Barry back one day if he decided to become a manager.

I'd seriously consider Brendan Rodgers if we had the money. Obviously this season was a disaster... but he has a good body of work overall. His teams generally play good football and win more than they lose.

Brian Barry-Murphy could be one for the future.

It actually wasn't which makes it worse for Aberdeen. They left him in charge for the game against Hibs after it and they lost 6-0. They also lost 5-0 to Hearts the game before getting beat by that junior team.

Nobody was keeping Dundee United up but yeah.. I may have been a bit off the mark with that oneLOL His managerial career has gone down the toilet scarily quick
