Lot of ifs and buts in that piece. Would be staggered if there isn't a proper external recruitment process.

Was this not said many a time that it would be an external recruitment process for a permanent CEO, albeit under the interim interim board? 

Noel Mooney declared his interest in the job last year and would’ve thought Owens may have an interest in throwing his hat in the ring. No idea who the best man for the job is but would’ve thought the non exec Directors would have been keen on a robust recruitment process

Who is the Director of PR and where was he formerly?

They could do with extending that recruitment process to include a replacement
