In Rocky 3 Mickey suddenly tells Rocky all the lads he beat after beating Apollo were chumps. How does Rocky, a heavyweight world champion, with top knowledge of boxing not know who is a top fighter and who isn't? Every boxer must surely know who is their biggest threat?

He said they weren’t set ups - just that they were hand picked. They weren’t killing machines, This would be standard procedure after you win the belt. Fight a few has-beens.

In Rocky I Micky says he’s 76 years old. When Micky dies in Rocky 3 (which takes place 3 years later) his gravestone says he died ages 76. Not even OFAH would make such a mistake

I wasn’t even watching it but he had 10 title defences. Let’s say he fought 3 a year, so that’s over a 3 year period. He was in his 30’s and made his money. All perfectly normal behaviour.

Was it 10? Just to revisit an earlier point I made moths back. Against Clubber in the 2nd fight he is wearing a full body robe and the commentator says 'wow he has so slimmed out he looks like a middleweight'. How can you tell is he is wearing a big robe? Plus he never looked like a heavyweight.

Why is Ivan Drago dressed as a soldier in Rocky IV? How were they able to put on an exhibition of the Soviet training methods with all their big 1980's soviet computers the size of 3 fridge freezers and Russian physiologists in white coats in the USA? Did they get that sent over in the post? |

Another small plot hole in Rocky IV Ivan Drago is supposedly an unknown boxer who is the Olympic Gold medalist. The film is set in 1985, the summer Olympics of 1984 were in Los Angeles how was he unknown to American boxing World?
