Movie Plot Holes

In Terminator 2, does the T1000 simply mimic the police officers clothing or does he actually take them similar to Arnie taking clothing (if so why doesn't he mimic the rest of him ie his face) 

In Terminator 2 would John not cease to exist at the end of the film if the terminators were killed off and all the chips destroyed thus preventing Terminators being invented in the future, thus his father had no need to be a human resistance fighter, thus the future never happened.  Because his father didnt travel back in time then he wouldn't have been shagging Sarah Connors and therefore John would not exist.

Therefore Sarah and John Connor by killing the Terminators should have inadvertertently killed John.

Or Am I wrong?

Yeah definitely a plot hole, John Connor should faded away Back to the future style.

I think though it is kinda explained in Terminator 3 that the events of 2 only delayed judgement day by a few years as they had wiped out Dysons research but not others,  there's a throwaway line during the introduction to Dyson where a guy tells him that someone is here to look at the terminator equipment. 

Why is his age important though? Obviously you cant have him going around as an OAP cyborg but dont see a difference between him being 30s or 50.

Just checked there and Arnie was 45ish. 

I cant remember fully but he was manufactured and sent back to present time in his current state yes? So what you see in the movie is what he was in the future, and they gave him human cell tissue to age like any of us, i guess in the event that he needed to blend in if it was going to be a long mission. 

I used to think as a kid, why didnt they hop on a plane? The walk thru metal detectors aside (were they as in place as they are today?) I mean air travel wasnt like it is now, like hopping on a bus in the 90s and sure Arnie could just fly a plane himself to some far off island and best of luck to the T finding him and JC on the island he grew up on in Twins. 

Yet when he eventually boards the flight, the cabin is full.

In Silence of the Lambs Jodie Foster is walkign out of the cell area after meeting Hannibal Lecter.  One of the occupants Mig throws his spunk on her.   Lecter calls out to her and says that was a despicable thing Mig did.

But there's no way he could have seen what happened from his cell as it was around the corner from his glassed encased cell

The role as pilot was his big break in acting. He was only in his mid 30s then. Has he ever looked young. The big irish head on him
