He did, but needed  the land that was then owned by Malahide United (Robbs Wall IIRC) to ensure the houses cold be built. So they swapped the land and as part of the deal he developed Gannon park for them.

If we as a country had any balls, spot checks on these US death flights would be carried out and any weaponry confiscated. but no, as usual we bend over like good little leprechauns and do what we're told.
