Sounds promising but the main problem is those 10 players have probably scored a combined total of 16 goals.
Vardy has 17.

I believe Hourihane is the top scorer with 3.

Correct, 16 goals with Hourihane's three the most by any player
I think it compares favourably with last season - 23 in total for the whole season, with Duffy and Long both top scorer with five.

What’s the record number of Irish scorers in a prem season?

19 - which has happened in three different seasons - 1992/93, 2004/05, and 2011/12
1992-93 2004-05 2011-12
Niall Quinn(9) Robbie Keane(11) Shane Long(8)
Eddie McGoldrick(8) Damien Duff(6) Anthony Pilkington(8)
Lee Power(6) Lee Carsley(4) Jonathan Walters(7)
Roy Keane(6) Clinton Morrison(4) James McClean(5)
Denis Irwin(5) Matt Holland(3) Wes Hoolahan(4)
Bernie Slaven(4) Gary Doherty(2) Kevin Doyle(4)
Andy Townsend(4) Andy O'Brien(2) Leon Best(4)
Kevin Moran(4) Rory Delap(2) Stephen Ward(3)
Paul McGrath(4) Steven Reid(2) Stephen Hunt(3)
Mike Milligan(3) John O'Shea(2) Robbie Keane(3)
Andy Turner(3) Stephen Kelly(2) Rory Delap(2)
Ray Houghton(3) Steve Finnan(1) Damien Duff(2)
John Sheridan(3) Stephen Carr(1) Keith Andrews(2)
Alan Kernaghan(2) Kevin Kilbane(1) Richard Dunne(1)
Steve Staunton(2) Willo Flood(1) Glenn Whelan(1)
Jeff Kenna(2) Jonathan Macken(1) Steven Reid(1)
Tony Cascarino(2) Roy Keane(1) Stephen Ireland(1)
Ronnie Whelan(1) Richard Dunne(1) Darron Gibson(1)
Chris Morris(1) Andy Reid(1) Ciaran Clark(1)

Realistically, I think there could be at least 13 goalscorers this season - Long and McGoldrick are yet to score, and you'd hope that Egan or Coleman will also find the back of the net before the end of May

Some great stats there Tetsujin, I'll set up a specific thread for them when I'm sober (might be a while etc)

Doesn't make the squad today, injured or rested I wonder? Great to have himself and Connolly getting good game time, but a bit worrying they seem to pick up so many niggling injuries.
We're decent enough..

was looking forward to him playing but with his injury history I suppose it’s not the worst thing to miss this one

Does seem to get injured/sick a lot, wonder if that’s what his managers mean when they bring up his professionalism

Obafemi seems to be getting starts of late so must be doing ok.

If he adds a few goals to that it would be amazing.
