Delighted with the Max O'Leary call-up.

He's had a strong break-through season making 16 appearances for a flying Bristol City team this year.  Only 22 - young for a keeper to be getting that kind of experience.

Should be a good prospect once his paperwork is sorted.  He's not the tallest keeper (either was Shay Given), but is a good shot-stopper.

I remember being in a pub in Heathrow three years ago, and had a pint with an Irish fan who works at Bristol City who was flying out to Chisnau for the Moldova game.  He mentioned they had a good keeper coming up through the ranks who is eligible.  O'Leary was on loan at Bath then.  Nice to have seen his career progress since then. Also, great to see Mick is keeping an eye out for what new, young players he can get involved.

If Westwood is finished playing for us then this lad will probably be our number two for this campaign.

First choice for a championship team at the age of 22 is pretty decent.

Every middle-class lad in the South-East of England in their 30's seems to be called Max, Ben or Oliver. A disproportional amount at least.
