At the moment they still have bergovic so I'd say they are happy between Travers and asmir. Let the two of them fight it out and if Travers can't beat him out he may forget about it as he will be kept as backup and that will be two years without first team football.

Well Howe was using him for Cup games and when Ramsdale was injured last year so he would have used him. You would hope to god whoever comes in will take a shine of some sort to him and play him. Thing is Begovic won’t stay to sit on the bench for Bournemouth that’s for sure. If Travers isn’t guaranteed No.1 he’d want to f**k off elsewhere as no doubt other Championship clubs and certainly League 1 clubs would take him in a heartbeat.

Begovic is too good to be playing in the Championship despite a few poor years, wouldn't be surprised to see him go too.

I wouldn't say he's to good for the championship anymore, I'd say he's wages are high hence they loaned him out to Milan last season. It will be hard get him off the books.

Begovic linked with a move to Turkey. Be interesting if Ohara was signed to compete with Travers.

I'd actually be fine with that. Would at least mean one of them was playing.

Bournemouth getting linked with David Marshall:

Might not be the worst arrival for Travers. They were always likely to sign a keeper to compete with him and whilst Marshall would probably start the season as first choice he's past his peak at this stage and with a bit of luck Travers could oust him at some point during the season.

Unfortunate for the lad. Young players make mistakes, and when you make a mistake as a goalkeeper it can often lead to a goal. It has to be taken into account that he's had little first-team, bar the odd cup appearance and a loan spell at Weymouth

Bournemouth have been linked with the Charlton keeper, Dillon Phillips, in the past few days, which doesn't augur well.

Both keepers were very poor for the goals in this game to be fair, travers looks nowhere near the ball for shots. One was ruled for offside which was lucky for Travers as he was at fault again.

He looks nervous and lacks confidence in the first team but if he tackles those demons he'll be very good.

Bournemouth go through so he might get game time in this competition if, as expected, they make Begovic first choice.
