That’s the kind of moxi we need against the Danes.
The one thing I’d say about Wilson, he’d probably the worst haircut I’ve seen on a footballer.

He’d be pushing for a podium place anyway. Could set your watch to his haircut anyway. Think it was circa 14/15.

Rumours that he's on his way to Luton. Still only 31, but 2 relegations in a row would suggest he's well past his best.

Always did a grand job for Stoke tbf to him. Seems to have lost any pace he had (not a whole lot) to a fairly catastrophic degree though, which has hurt his game badly.

A truly awful football player. Must be the worst I have seen for Ireland.
Luton have a very strict budget, it would be bizarre to waste money on this lad. He was always League Two quality, a time best. I certainly wouldn’t want him at Cambridge.

Worst ever for Ireland? That's a bit of a stretch.

his performance at home to Sweden was one of the worst I've seen in recent years.  Before that he didn't look out of plane albeit in a very poor team

He wasn’t that bad, when he came on the scene he was good. Just needs constant game time in a half decent side not battling for their life.

Injuries ruined him unfortunately.
