What should the attacking formation be, now that we have seen two different versions after the game against Real Sociedad?

United report net loss of £115.5m for 2021/22. Wage bill £384m, up by £61m. Biggest in division and in EPL history |

But the Glazers are good owners.

Rashford in top form tonight. Never let anyone say he's hard done by when he misses out on England squads. Has all the finishing ability of Stevie Wonder

United would be some team with a competent striker leading the line. Excellent performance last night vs Spurs.
2-0 flattered Spurs. The amount of chances United are creating lately is scary, they just need to put them away.

Excellent performance alright, Ten Hag has the team playing some brilliant attacking football, really need a competent goalscorer though!
Varane makes such a difference in defence, keeping him fit is key, Casemiro looking really good now too. |

Even more important is keeping Harry Maguire out of the team!

I wouldn't say that. They had a lot of shots, but a low xG overall. A new ST will certainly help. A new GK is needed also. De Gea has done okay recently. His distribution and inability to command his 6 yard box aerially are still glaring issues. United are slowly improving. That was the first game they looked comfortable for 90 minutes in. They were good... but Spurs were awful in an attacking sense. Chelsea away will reveal more. ten Hag should have them in a good place in 18 months time.

Yes. Have done for years. Great point, would have been unfair to have lost that game. Casemiro is unbelievable, what a player.

Started back in the 90s when opposition teams sung it, so United fans just started singing themselves.

Lose a bet because United score with the last kick of the game. Standard stuff for me.

Ronaldo isn't handling the latter stages of his career too well. Own goal after own goal this season.
I wonder if Roy Keane defends him in any way here? Remember he scored a goal against Everton a few weeks ago and Keane suddently had him in the top 3 players in the league currently. Ten Hag has handled him well and will be glad to see the back of him I'm sure

Ten Hag will be secretly delighted with this. It’s played out beautifully for him. I wonder how much was by accident or design. Either way, the Ronaldo problem he inherited is pretty much sorted. They just need to agree on an exit for him.
