Been a while since a team like United have appointed a manager I haven't even heard of.

This is a very sensible and exciting appointment, comes in implements a style and then takes control of the running of the football side of things in the summer when they hopefully appoint ten Hag or Poch on a permanent basis.

Majority of United fans will genuinely be excited by this, the same wouldn’t be said had Conte been appointed.
Excited or realistic. This boy wouldn’t get in the door of any of the elite clubs.

He’s interim manager for 6 months, who were you expecting to come in and do it short term? Think of the bigger picture I'm more interested in how he has transformed clubs before as a whole not just as a manager, he’s staying on once the new manager is appointed in the summer! It’s exciting as United have tried hiring the big name manager before with no real plan, this is progress.

I wasn’t expecting anybody to go to UTD. The top managers are all occupied and won’t go anyway. Find the ‘excited’ bit about a random shot in the dark a bit funny. That’s not to say he could do well. Unlikely though.

Why do the players all hug each other before kick off?
Is this a new thing?

Fred has looked like a completely different player the last few games, delighted for him scoring the winner yesterday!

Great finish in fairness to him. McTominay nowhere good enough.
Need to get someone in in January

What happens if Ragnick is excellent? Is there an option to keep him on?
It would damage this forums' reputation

He will have an input into the next manager, so it could be possible if everyone involved thinks he's the best for the job.

United have a seriously favourable couple of months worth of games up to City in march, so could start to close the gap.
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

The other 3 will be playing each other in that period as well.
They'll pull clear of the other top 4 contenders by the time the city game in March comes around. A fortunate last 16 CL draw and they could have a interesting end of season.

How do you manage to build a squad for £800m and go into a big premier league game with Dalot, Lindelof, Telles, Fred and Matic as 5 of the first 7 names on it

Career over, the audio clip leaves no doubt. What a scumbag.

Deserves what's coming to him. The most concerning thing is that this seems to have been publicly known for a while but nobody has done anything about it until now.

Evidence is pretty strong there. Surely he will do a bit of time for that.
Then as for his career, he will have some grovelling to do after his punishment if is to climb back up.

What a f**king idiot

How so? As in how had it been known so long?

An awful story

Suggestion seems to be that one or more papers have been sitting on similar stories about him, possibly saving them for the week of a big United game. Possibly other players at other clubs also.
