Really? Loads of trouble not being reported because they're Sky's pet club.

Absolute scumbag to do that and may not be identified by the CCTV if he has his face covered. It could've blinded the steward in that eye. He's lucky if it's only a cut as it looks like his eye is damaged too. Wonder was it a glass bottle that broke on impact.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Absolutely pointless though if the club is still financially supported in August by supporters!

Same argument still stands from 2005. Until it hits their pockets, the glazed wont be arsed about protests

The jokes on them, the glazers don’t want them lot at the club. Ever.

They want the corporate dinners and the tourist fans from South Korea/ America / Norway etc flying over to see the game, stadium tour the day before and buy a few presents in the Man U shop.

The absolute bottom of the priority is these lads. They probably don’t even post on IG when they go to the games.

your absolutely spot on with that assessment, viewed as how much cash can be extracted per head and the home and away fans are at the bottom of the food chain .

What is the end game for these fans?

Is it that the Glaziers sell the club? I don't think there is a huge list of people who can buy them.

Maybe the Chinese government or something like that?
Is it not going to be just replacing one mega wealthy group with another?

The Glaziers, while buying the club with loans they have backed them in the transfer market and with salaries.
Do they just want better communication from them?

If its about football as a whole, then utd fans protesting is not going to be enough. In addition, I just can't see the government or FA getting involved now to change the rules and trying to go down more the German model. It was way to many legal issues that it would be impossible.

There is always FC United instead to fall back on

Why do barstool fans have more issue with those that stand up for what they believe in than they do for the horrible scumbag owners who take over these clubs.

Money for McGuire was saddled on to the club debt and one or two more , they have not put a penny in and taken a billion out , MUFC could eclipse city and Chelsea spending through their own resources if run correctly.

The End game is a 50+ 1 model probably pie in the sky at  the moment but it’s better to do something as opposed to nothing .

If you did live in Manchester,  FC United is the way to go. Manchester United might have the big names but that's it.

After the barstool fans againLOL

I didnt say I had a problem with them but rather wondering is it simply the Glaziers themselves they are after or is it all the money involved in general.
As getting out Glaziers could be a possibility I suppose but the alternatives might not be anything special themselves.
Going to a 50-1 model like Germany is really just pie in the sky stuff

So is being run by a state instead who don't put you into debt but fund you with oil money is that better?

No both ownership models are bad and should be banned and they both should have failed the fit and proper persons test.

The glazers have used the success of utd off
The pitch to finance the purchase of the club in the first place and put the debt onto utd and profits that could be spent on the stadium or training ground or the players or cheaper tickets have been spent on servicing that debt. A debt that didn’t exist before the glazers took charge.

As some on here know, I’m an fc supporter, go over a couple of times a year. Love it! I’d recommend fc to any Man Utd supporters.

There were fc supporters there yesterday. Inside the ground, outside the ground and at the hotel!

But when you look at the videos, alot of these protesters would’ve only been kids in 2005 when fc set up. Fc might’ve passed these lads by.

This is a new generation of reds now compared to the 05 protests (for the most oart), fc mightn’t be for them, different time - but I really hope they financially boycott the club and keep up the mayhem at least! Fair play to them, that was a great result fir them yesterday.

And if they do go to fc, they’ll be welcome with open arms I’m sure

Trandy, I don’t think you get it at all.
These protestors see their club as a cultural institution that’s a key part of their fabric of the city. They don’t give a fook about “better communication” from the Glazers. They have been disrespected and many have been priced out of following their team. They have had something they love robbed from them. They want benevolent owners with views aligned with their own. People who plan to leave the club in better condition than they found it like good custodians should. The Glazers use United as an ATM.
Sorry to say it but you’re part of the problem. As am I.
We enjoy watching entertaining high quality football played by big name stars on tv. That market globally is far more valuable to the Glazers than the local lads. The protestors are actual supporters and feel passionately for United. Fair play to them for taking action. They need to find a way to adversely and consistently affect the share price though. That’s the only way the Glazers are going to leave.

No matter the situation, there'll always be some lad wearing a GAA jersey, this time a Kerry jersey.

For many overseas fans who just watch “their” team on tv they don’t give a sh*t about any of this.  All they care is that their team wins on the pitch so they can sl*g their other mates about “their” team. It’s quite common to see two almost identical lads from the same area and who went to the same school sl*gging each other for being a manc fan or a scouse fan 😀
