I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about getting rid of Lukaku but he doesn't seem to fit in with Solskjaer's plans. If United get a good price then he has to go.

If United some how got Dybala for Lukaku in a swap deal it would be the best bit of business done all summer.

To me Lukaku is a better player. He may not suit Man U but he is a proven goal scorer.

One isnt replacing the other.United selling Lukaku will have no baring on them buying Maguire.

I would have preferred if United had looked elsewhere once it was known the fee leicester wanted.The rumoured fee is nuts but United will probably pay it at this stage.

I do love this logic. It will be repeated time after time in the next few days about Maguire.

They've spent 130-140 million pounds on AWB and Maguire. Two good players, but nothing more than that. Players nowhere near the elite level players in the game. AWB may get there as his ceiling is obviously far higher, Maguire will never get anywhere near to that elite level in the game.

So if United are spending that to upgrade 2 positions in their team, and not even to a very high level, how much will it cost to build a squad eventually capable of challenging the best PL and CL sides?

By far the biggest positive for United in this move is I presume the fans will never have to look at that sack of sh*t Rojo again. He's surely already been booted out of the club already.
