4-0 win for United today, they simply outclassed Arsenal today albeit both sides had slightly weakend teams. Rooney, Fletcher and Nani were on fire for United and there was no question about Eboue's sending off, horrific challenge for the ball.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Arsenal weren't arsed (no pun intended).......from the kick off.  Bigger fish to fry this season I reckon, Milan on Wednesday and players undergoing treatment, I reckon Wenger's relieved to be out of the Cup to be honest.  Rooney though, what a player, outstanding.
We'll never die, we'll never die, we'll keep the Green Flag flying high......Shamrock Rovers will never die, we'll keep the Green Flag Flying high. 19 Leagues and 25 Cups.....

Th Arsenal full backs were shocking and Gilberto is finished on yesterdays performance. It was just one of those days for the Arsenal but all credit to Utd, Great performance. Rooney was suberb..... and credit to Fletcher also, very good performance, pity he'll be back on the bench now for another 10 or 12 games...

Nani showboating yesterday:

Bad form I know but you have to admire the lad for having the balls to try it.

I'm surprised Nani didnt cause himself a serious injury showboating like that. Anyone that's played the game knows that if some little pr1ck like him started doing all that ball0x in front of you when you were 4-0 down, all you would want to do is break the f**ker up. I may be bias connsidering I'm a Pool fan (unfortunately), but i got very angry seeing him do all that sh1t.
I can guarantee Fergie had a few words with him over it and also his celebration - if i tried that, my cruciate would snap in half again and it would be the end of me!
