Try Hawksmoor. Again like Gauchos it's a chain and similarly priced. IMO Hawksmoor is better.

Senior football and hurling of a decent standard but teams generally have a decent drop off for their reserves.

You'll get a run for anyone's reserves

Go as local as possible as the time to training and costs mount up. Played Junior Championship over there 08-10 found the standard ok.

Would say the standard of London football outside of the top teams is the lowest it has been for a number of years. The number of footballers coming to London seems to have dropped (more work at home etc) and people that are coming over don't seem to be gravitating to the GAA clubs in the same way they used to be.

As has been mentioned, I would do a small bit of homework and see where your nearest club is. If you have mates at a club then you might want to go where they are but basically I'd look for a club where you are likely to play ball : The bigger clubs may have reserve teams but they also have a load of players already who, strangely, would rather be at that club then play intermediate and junior even though they would probably be better than a lot of players already at that standard.

What area are you moving to ?

Cheers lads Thumbs Up Moving to North Finchley so I think its the Kindom Kerry Geals that play in that area... any idea if they have a few lesser teams ?. The last thing I want is a serious outfit , a pub outfit would do just fine.

There's The Shamrocks too. They compete in the reserve leagues and train near Wood Green so only fifteen or twenty minutes from you.
