Just read the Ian Rush 47 goals in a season stat, he played 65 games!! Salah has played 47 thus far.
I thought modern footballers were meant to be getting burnt out

I remember Arsenal played 72 games one year, possibly 1980 when they reached CWC Final. Only one sub in those days and squads were 15/16 players.

Mourinho saying earlier that it wasn't his decision to sell Salah and he actually advised Liverpool to buy him.
In July 2015 he's quoted as saying: "I see his future elsewhere. Either on loan or sold with an offer we are happy to accept. We have five wingers and it is better not to have Salah back."
